1. Scripture

We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writing and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21

2. The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three equal persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of everyone and everything, and what He made was good.
Exodus 20:2-3; Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 8:6

3. The Fall

We believe that man was created in the image of God. Man sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.
Genesis 3; Romans 3:23, 6:23

4. Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and that He is both fully God and fully man. Jesus lived a perfectly sinless life.
Isaiah 7:14; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 4:15, 7:26

5. Salvation

We believe in the substitutionary death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the means of salvation for sinful man.
Isaiah 53:5; Romans 5:8

6. Christ Alone

We believe in the salvation of all individuals who, by grace through faith, place their trust in Christ alone for salvation.
Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8-9

7. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit as the One who calls, regenerates, baptizes, and seals the believer for service.
John 16:7-15; Romans 8:9; Galatians 5:16-25

8. The Church

We believe in the church as a body of born-again, baptized believers. Local churches are autonomous groups of believers, free from any external control, with the right of self-government.
1 Corinthians 14:26; Ephesians 4:11-16; Hebrews 10:24-25

9. The Resurrection

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all believers at the return of Jesus. He will make all things new.
1 Corinthians 15:20-28; Revelation 21:5
